A nano-particulate capsule comprising hydrophobic core material and a polymeric shell having particle size below 1000 nm is provided together with a controlled release fragrance delivery system. The invention enables protection and controlled release of fragrance in coating, textile, cosmetics, soaps, detergents and industrial formulations.
