Stimuli responsive self-cleaning aqueous coating compositions involving smart polymers which exhibit reversible super-hydrophobic and super-hydrophilic behaviour in response to changes in temperature, pH, humidity and light. The compositions show low contact angle hysteresis and are durable, ambient curing, recoatable and storage stable.
