A surfactant stabilized vinyl acetate polymer based terpolymer emulsion is provided having excellent freeze-thaw stability and controlled particle size. The emulsion utilizes non-ionic surfactant in combination with polymerizable anionic reactive surfactants and remains stable up to at least five freeze–thaw cycles.
