Stable waterborne acrylated alkyd dispersions comprising amine neutralized acrylic modified selective alkyd resins, and a process for manufacturing said resins and dispersions involving said resin thus finding its end use and application in variety of coating/ paint formulations. Said dispersions are free of emulsifiers, exhibit good water resistance, high storage stability, long shelf life and are suitable for high quality glossy air drying and stoving applications.
