Torch‑applied APP modified bituminous sheets (2–5 mm)
Large roof slabs, basements, raft slabs, tunnels and other critical areas need reliable waterproofing that resists puncture, tearing, and temperature variation.
APP modified membranes address this through reinforced bituminous sheets designed for water‑tightness, dimensional stability, and durable performance when installed as a complete system.
Substrates are checked for hollowness and repaired with polymer‑modified mortar; the surface is cleaned of dust/oil and made level and sound.
A bitumen‑based primer is applied and allowed to dry tack‑free (about 6–8 hours).
The membrane is aligned, then the primed substrate and membrane underside are heated with a gas burner until softening; the roll is pressed down to bond while maintaining a minimum 100 mm overlap, with bitumen bead extrusion as seal confirmation.
For exposed roofs, the membrane is finished with aluminum coating for non‑foot traffic or protected with screed mortar for foot traffic.
0°C: No cracking
Remains flexible in cold.
Softening point ≥150°C
Holds shape at high heat.
Water pressure: No leakage
Seals reliably when installed.
Tensile up to 700 N/5 cm; laps up to 650
Resists tear and lap failure.
Accessible & non‑accessible roofs
Green roofs
Basements, raft slabs
Swimming pools
Bridges, tunnels

100 mm overlaps support continuous sealing.
No cracking at 0°C; softening ≥150°C.
Glass fiber or polyester fleece reinforcement available.
Aluminum coat or screed protects the membrane.
