Preformed EPDM rubber sheets for long-life waterproofing
Long-life waterproofing must tolerate movement, temperature cycling, and outdoor exposure without cracking or losing elasticity.
EPDM membranes are built for this with high elongation, tear strength, and resistance to ozone, UV, and heat ageing—supporting extended service life.
Substrates are mechanically prepared, cleaned, and repaired using polymer-modified mortar cured for at least 72 hours.
Expansion joints are treated using a compatible sealant, then datum lines are marked for accurate sheet alignment.
A two-component rubber adhesive is applied thinly on both substrate and membrane back; sheets are laid once the adhesive turns surface-dry (tacky).
Adjacent sheets are overlapped by at least 50 mm, and damaged areas are patched with a piece extending 2 inches beyond the defect on all sides.
Elongation >300%
Stretches to handle movement.
Resistant to ozone and UV
Withstands outdoor exposure.
Maintains elongation after ageing
Supports long service life.
Resists acids, alkalis, oxygenated solvents
Suitable for harsh environments.
Pools, wet zones
Basements, foundations
Podiums, raft slabs
Medium-large terraces
Lakes, reservoirs, canals
Terrace gardens
High elongation supports durability after ageing.
Zero maintenance when fixed per method.
Minimum 50 mm overlaps improve joint integrity.
Adhesive turns tacky in about 10 minutes.
